achtergrond efst bij getraumatiseerdeThis webinar will present an approach to treating generalized anxiety disorder (GAD) which attempts to uncover the deeper, underlying emotional experiences that clients are afraid of. The webinar will illustrate how these painful experiences can be transformed into a form of emotional resilience by generating experiences of self-compassion and healthy, boundary setting, protective anger. The webinar will give an overview of GAD and EFT theory and practice in particular when working with generalized anxiety. It will cover topics such as case conceptualisation; the role of the therapeutic relationship in EFT for GAD; working with emotional avoidance and emotional dysregulation; key EFT tasks and interventions (such as Two Chair Dialogues for working with worry processes); and transforming the underlying feared core emotional pain in therapy through the activation of adaptive emotional processes.

Dit webinar wordt in het Engels gegeven.
